Built in 1889, this historic landmark features longleaf pine floors, Majolica-tiled fireplaces, and sweeping skyline views from its iconic belvedere. The Academy got its name from its use as the Austin Military School in the 1920s, and has been home to storied residents like President of Austin Water, Light, and Power Company Myron D. Mather and pioneering writer and reporter Elithe Kirkland.
